Coronavirus (COVID-19) Info

Protecting our Patients and Staff is our #1 Priority.

• Masks will be optional for patients at all DIS offices, whether in the waiting areas or exam rooms.​
• We will continue to encourage mask wearing if patients have cold symptoms such as fever, coughing, or sneezing. There will be signage to this effect at our office entrances but this is only a recommendation (not a requirement).
• We will continue to follow CDC recommendations for 5 day self-quarantine following positive COVID-19 test results. This is also in keeping with the current Meritus policy. Patients with positive COVID-19 tests will be asked to defer imaging until their quarantine time is over. The only exception to this will be performing PROVIDER ORDERED STAT X-ray imaging of COVID positive patients, regardless of when they test positive.
• We will continue to treat pending COVID test results as positive, unless the test was ordered for employment, preop evaluation, or travel rather than patient symptoms or exposure.
